The March 16 event was second of two FIS World Cup SBX events in Valmalenco. . SMS senior Mike Perle, Saddle River, N.J. placed 16th in that event, and qualified a stunning fourth for the March 16 SBX event, finishing 25th overall. SMS alumnus Alex Deibold (SMS ’04) finished 10th.
